Camp Moo Gung Hwa is held at First Korean Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Camp is held from 9:00am–1:00pm for children (Pre-K - 9th grade) with lunch included. Rising 10th through 12th graders may apply to serve as CITs (Counselors in Training), to assist with camp during the day and then participate in teen activities in the afternoon.
Parent Sessions are scheduled each day during camp.
More information on specific topics and times will be available as we get closer to camp. Typically we have at least one Parent session per day, sometimes more. Examples from past years have included discussions with adult adoptees, Korean cooking classes, field trips to a local Korean market, book reviews or author sessions, and presentations on Homeland tours.
Evening Activities are scheduled family activities each evening. These have included gathering at local Korean restaurants, Frankie’s Fun House, trampoline parks, etc.
